It actually is so well incorporated into my cooking routine- almost has  become a regular for me. And to my  utmost surprise, it finds its place in more than one cuisines in multiple variants. Khichdi is basically a dish prepared with rice and lentils that is really fulfilling and healthy. It’s so good for your healthy diet routine, you’re gonna love it once you give it a try!

And it’s really very flexible as well- add or remove whatever veggies you want, any spices would do. I’ve added soya nuggets to this one. You can even try it with multiple lentils, be it split bengal gram or green gram- the ones I’ve used are the petite yellow lentils, feel absolutely free to experiment with the ingredients as much as you want.
